They make great gifts, you can also make a few and donate them to charity. Follow along to see how I make this easy quick knit soap sack. The best part is they only require the knit stitch! You could also use them as a sunglasses holder or small pouch, just adjust the length.
Easy Quick Knit Soap Sack Materials
Knitting Needles size 7 (I used circular, but straight will work too)
Double pointed needles, size 7 (for I cord loop)
Soap Sack Instructions
Cast on 23 stitches
Row 1: Slip first stitch, knit until last 2 stitches, pass yarn in front, slip last 2 stitches.
Row 2: Knit.
Repeat row one and two until 7 inches in length.
Finish on a Row 2. Bind off until last 3 stitches.
Transfer last 3 stitches to double pointed needle, using double pointed needles, create 3 inch long I-cord. Bind off last 3 stitches, leaving a long amount of yarn to sew the seam.
Fold cast on edge to meet cast off edge, using I-cord yarn and embroidery needled, sew seams together. Weave in any left over yarn and trim.
